HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET OUR STAIR AFTER WE ORDER? The best way to place your order is by
phone. If you are ordering, please call us at the
number located on the main page. We will take all of
the information needed to start your stair. Because
each of the stairs are built to your specifications, we do
require a 50% deposit of the cost at the time your stair is
ordered. We will figure the exact cost at the time of
your order. Most steel stairs take three to six weeks in
building, depending on the time of the year, it can take longer. After we receive your check, and another ten to
fourteen days in shipping. Our all wood stairs may
take longer. Your deposit holds your place in the production
line.

WHAT DOES SHIPPING COST? Cost varies widely from shipper to shipper and weight also varies on the different sizes and types of stairs. Most stairs will vary between $150 to $600 for freight cost. We do realize that freight cost could alarm some customers. However, to get the most strength, cleanest line, and best looking stair possible, it needs to be welded into one solid structure. Because of the bulk of the stair, the freight will go to a higher rate. You do get a more attractive stair that is already assembled so that you don't have to do it yourself. Wood stairs are disassembled and boxed for shipping, and will go at a lower freight rate.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL OUR STAIR? If the area is ready for the stair to be installed, two people can usually install it in less than an hour. All that is left is installing the wood railing and carpeting the steps. The Easy Living Stair takes longer to carpet the than the Standard Stair. The Standard Stair is carpeted in about one hours time. The All Wood Stair is shipped disassembled and takes four to six hours to put back together.

HOW WILL I GET MY STAIR THROUGH THE DOOR? Our spiral stairs can be easily corkscrewed through the door. A 5' diameter stair will fit through a 35" door. A 4 1/2 diameter stair fits through a 32" door and a 4' stair fits through a 29" door. Spiral stairs will not go down a hallway. If you do have a hallway to go through, we will send your stair in two sections so that it will fit through narrow spaces. It then takes five screws to put it back together. The only difference is a seam in the center of the pipe.
