How Long Does It Take to Get Our Spiral Staircase After Ordering?
Once you’ve placed your order (by calling 785-689-4341 or toll-free at 1-800-536-4341), we collect all necessary information and request a $100 deposit to reserve your place in line. This deposit is nonrefundable.
- Estimated production time: 3–8 weeks (depending on complexity and season)
- Shipping lead time: 7–14 days after build completion
- Wood stairs may take longer than standard steel stairs.
Note: A signed invoice and a 50% deposit are required for orders over $1,000. The full balance (including any customizations) is due before or at the time of delivery. We accept credit cards, and a 2% surcharge applies to card orders.
What Does Shipping Cost on Spiral Staircases?
Shipping costs vary based on:
• Your location
• Stair weight and size
• Carrier availability
๐น Typical shipping range: $150–$1000
๐น We quote the best ground shipping rate (liftgate service included where applicable).
๐น Disassembled shipping lowers rates; pre-assembled stairs may cost more due to freight class.
Tip: We recommend shipping disassembled stairs unless you're comfortable with higher shipping rates and pre-assembled handling.
How Long Does It Take to Install Our Spiral Stairs?
For standard staircases:
• Installation can take less than 1 hour with 2 people.
• Most time is spent installing the handrail and treads.
• The Luxury Living Spiral Staircase and All-Wood models take slightly longer (up to 2 hours).
Note: All our staircases ship with instructions, and phone support is available if needed.
How Will I Get My Spiral Staircase Through the Door?
Great news—most of our staircases fit through standard doors:
Stair Diameter Fits Through Door Size
4.5′ Spiral 30″ Door
4.75′ Spiral 32″ Door
5′ Spiral 36″ Door
If your access space is tight:
• We ship the staircase in 2 pieces
• Assembly is straightforward—the main difference is a seam in the center of the pole
• All hardware is included
Do Your Spiral Staircases Meet Building Codes?
Yes. If your project requires code compliance, let us know when you place your order. We’ll ensure the staircase includes:
• Proper baluster spacing
• Child safety rails
• Riser bars
• Code-size threads
• Code-compliant landings
We’re experienced with the 2015 and 2018 IRC and IBC Codes—just tell us your requirements.
What if I Need to Cancel My Order?
If you cancel:
• The $100 deposit is non-refundable.
• For custom orders in production, up to 25% of the total cost may be non-refundable.
• Orders with special materials or custom designs cannot be refunded.
Contact us as soon as possible if cancellation becomes necessary.

Install the leg bolts.
3
Set the stair into the opening.
4
Anchor the landing
5
Mount the stair to the landing using 3/8" lag bolts.
6

7
Install handrail and balusters
8
Secure the rail and test safety
๐ If wood treads or handrails were ordered unfinished, apply your stain and finish after installation.
